Will it work on Switch 2?
There is no announced Switch edition to run through backward compatibility and no separate Switch 2 edition. The PC version does not provide a Nintendo console copy. If Nintendo is your only platform, there is currently no version you can buy, preorder or download.
Is there a handheld PC alternative?
The game is listed for Windows PC, but Steam Deck compatibility is marked Unknown. That is not a confirmed handheld play option. A small storage requirement or board-game format does not establish controller usability or compatibility with SteamOS.
The PC release date is still to be announced. Even when that date is set, it will not establish a Switch or Switch 2 launch without a separate platform announcement.
